Doctors bid to open David Kelly inquest?
Six doctors are to take authorized action in a bid to reopen the inquest into weapons inspector Dr David Kelly. They wish the case re-examined, claiming there is insufficient evidence to turn out he committed suicide.
An inquiry by Lord Hutton concluded Dr Kelly, a Clericals of Defence advisor, had died from cuts to his wrist and an overdose of powerful painkillers. However, the Doctors swear by Dr Kelly's suicide would not have caused him to bleed to death and there was only a run-of-the-mill dose of co-proxamol present in his body.
Dr Kelly was an expert in his candidates of work for 18 years as a weapons inspector. He was caught in the eye of the whirlwind of government claims that Iraq had WMD. Dr Kelly was a quietly verbal man having to work with the likes of Alister Cambell and the still aggressive tones he was spoken to at hearings.
Would you welcome a re inauguration of the case?
If this man's id had been seriously listened to at the time, there might have been a different foreign game plan course for the UK. with regard to the Iraqi invasion. Lives might have been saved.
I expectation that if it is discovered that he was killed to silence him, then those responsible for it should be exposed, charged and jailed.
However, I can only see that it's gonna be covered up again and nothing is going to be found. That's the cover with things such as this isn't it?
